Hi,
I've got a set of Spanish forks in the for sale section, (see link below) I actually need a set of forks for an 1964 Italian 150 special chrome ring frame.
Can anyone tell me if these Spanish ones will definitely fit without any safety issue or fitting problems?
I'm happy to keep them and replace the damper brackets if the forks will fit.

Lambretta forks
someone did post up a list of the stem lengths of lambretta forks but i have had no luck finding the post but i think the difference should not be a lot ,it would certainly save you a lot of bother trial fitting them first

i thought id answered your question on a previous post......... the limiting factors are the steering stop which can be moved no problem and the position of the headset clamp bolt cut out you need to check the thread lengths as well and maybe grind a few mm of the top of the forks ill measure my set tommorow and let you know what chrome ring ones are

Hmmm. Steve, do you know if chrome ring forks will fit okay into a non-chrome ring frame?

i dont think there's enough thread thread on the top to tighten them down ,its more to do with the position of the headset clamp cut out which causes issues as this makes the headset higher or lower and leaves a gap or rubs , the chrome ring ones are longer becouse the chrome ring extends the length of the fork tube, the headset lower is cast to suit IE shallower than the later non chrome ring ones

I have a chrome ring frame that I removed the ring and fitted a regular bearing track, the forks are chrome ring but the headset is non-chrome ring.
