my r+d team :| were wondering if the bgm front dampers could be made to be 70/30 in favour of re bound as they seem to be equaly damped at the moment which is not ideal?

mb dont make them they just distribute.

there is enough adjustment shocky its just that when i get enough rebound its also cranked up the compression damping too so the ride is "skitish"

or i back it off sp the compresion is ok and then its bouncy as there is no rebound

im sure they are fine on a track but on bumpy uneaven country roads they show their limits.

i thought they were a 2/3 1/3 ratio the last set i had in my hands were deffo harder to push one way than the other they also felt alot softer than the first ones i had in my hands , so either the oil weight has been reduced or the hole that it bleeds through has been enlarged i know what you mean about skitting its the reason i only used R1 shocks on the rear as the have independent adjustment for rebound and compression unlike any other shock i could get at the time ,and lead to a few arguments with dealers who were selling "fully" adjustable shocks

We don't have mellow birds. We normally have nescafe gold blend which isn't bad for an instant coffee.

To answer the original question I am told the dampers work 70-80% on rebound - 20-30% on compression.
