Is anyone using this tensioner that pulls the chain down . .Fitted one today with a bottom chain guide .And a little concerned that the chain runs close to the supporting plt on the tensioner that bolts to the crankcase.I measured from the face of a pin on the chain to the face of the support plt and have about 1.8mm .Due to its design you have to mount this on top of the bottom guide .what worries me is the chain rubbing the support bracket when running .feedback would be great .

Personally I'd lose the bottom guide that way you'll gain about another mm.

another thought is to mill 1mm of the back of the support plt. as its 4mm thick .that would give about 5mm clearance if i lose the bottom guide as well
