sealing joints on a JL3 tips, please?

any advice on sealing the joints on a JL3 to stop any blowing, what do you guys use? cheers!

so do you put the sealant around the outer part of the 2 joints, or put some sealant on so it sits inside when the 2 joints are put together, if you know what i mean?

So it sits inside, clean the joint with brake/clutch cleaner first .

We have always used a length of mountain bike inner tube, perfect fit and doesn;t burn. simply rolls on and off - TOP TIP

Any pics? I assume you mean the tailcan joint .........what about the exhaust slip joint?

Yeah tailcan joint simply rolls, always done it, been no probs at all, 3"long
