Fork springs

Who sells the best fork springs? I have some uprated ones in my LiS but I'm just overhauling the forks of my Jet and noticed that MB do a 3 stage spring, anyone using them?

Any views on chromed or stainless springs?

Have heard its not good to use SS fork springs, and why use chrome when no one will see them inside your forks SR are out of stock on their progressive springs at the mo, but have used them in mine with no problem ( their a lot cheaper than other progressive springs out there too)

I'm sure MB used to claim that they were made in the UK. Although I looked recently and there is no mention of their origin so presumably they are now sourced from outside the UK. Two and two = ?

Col, without wishing just to repeat everyone else, I've used both the SR and MB progressive ones, and I'd go MB again, even if they were twice the price.

Hard to explain why, they're not so much firmer, just a good responsive ride. In saying this, I know it's hard to compare one bike with another if you've got different dampers, rear shocks etc. Mine were on the Muggy I sold with an R6 rear shock and Escort dampers.
