Anyone got any hints for cutting braided metal fuel hose.want to try and get a nice even cut and avoid loads of frayed wire. was thinking of using the dremmel with a metal cutting wheel?

Wrap some tape around the hose where you're cutting, helps to keep it from getting too messy. I've done it with a dremmel and cutting disc too, seemed ok.
are we talking braided brake hose or fuel pipe hose?
I wrap a length of electrical tape around it then attach a hose clamp around the tape. Then I take a hack saw and cut it along the hose clamp. make sure you've got a fine tooth hacksaw blade 32tpi or a dremmel or cut off wheel will work..
