I had a call from a Pal in a panic, He has a TS1 built and set up by Kegra, he’s still running it in with care, and it’s currently done about 400 miles.

Now due to not being able to get out because of the bad weather he’s started it up and left it running on the stand (less than 10 mins?)

Engine died out and now it will not restart......it’s getting fuel and has a good spark.

Could it have nipped up while sitting at idle on the stand?

Not had the tools out yet and Kegra are not interested.

Cheers

to paraphrase someone else- I've never heard of a bike nipping up whilst ticking over.

I'd be inclined to strip the carb and replace the plug to start with

Tried taking the green wire (from the loom) off the CDI? Checked the readings off the stator??

If its not none of them, whipp it to one of the other shops in southend ;) and see if they'll have a look while you wait??

otherwise....... who knows!

Cant see it nipping up if it had cowls on. jetting hasn't alterd although could have a blocked pilot???

I had a scoot that wouldn't start once (ok I have had that quite a few times!) Turned out the kill button was grounding itself out against the bracket. Maybe? Good luck.
