Still searching for info on fitting a trailtech onto a bike with variotronic ignition system , has it been done by anyone?, Cheers

All I had to do was set it to twin spark for the pick up for the rev counter.

Same as jason, the trialtech has a setting you can change so the rev counter detects 1, 1.5 or 2 sparks per rev...

Thanks for the info, why does MB say that you cannot use a trailtech on a vari, when it is just a simple setting?

good question, they told me the same - not usable with varitronic.... :?

I asked the question when we got them from Trail Tech who said they won't, when I set mine up I realised they did and forgot to alter the information on our web site, I altered it earlier when I read the thread when it reminded me! Sorry Im only human!!!!!!!

Answer is yes they work with a Varitronic, just change the firing settings! Easy!
