I've just finished rebuilding my series three Li 125 engine (now Casa 185 equipped). I've dropped the engine back into the fully stripped frame, and want to start it to make sure I haven't done anything wrong before the frame is blasted and painted.

It's running totally standard, 6 pole electrics (points). What is the easiest way to check for spark without the entire loom in place? I've got the stator and main loom wires into the junction box, and the coil is in place and earthed. The tail light, brake light and all headset wiring is taped up and disconnected. How do I close the loop for the ignition circuit so I can try to fire it up?

Cheers,

Dan
