I have a Lambretta S3 witch I bought a while back from England.
It has a center stand fitted. I am not sure of it's origin buts its def not original.
The stand stands the bike so both wheels are on the right level on the ground.
The problem occurs when I want to lift the bike of the stand. I have to litterally lift it up by the handlebar to get it over. Makes the task of taking the bike off the stand a little to power demanding.
Now, I wonder witch manufacturer makes the most correct stand when it comes to height, angle and material used?

kejj, is the subframe [crossmember] as it should be, if it is, the first thing to do is make sure the bolts that secure the stand to the subframe are tight, if they are then you can cheat by glueing a piece of thick rubber on either the stand stops or the subframe inline with the stand stops, this will cause your stand to be more upright when in use and therefore its easyer to get the bike on and off the stand. The best replacement stands IMO are the stainless Scoot rs ones, hope this helps.

Could be someone has been sitting on the scoot while on the stand ,check the bolts haven't pulled through onthe cross member/rear strut

I will check that. It's either that or it's just a too long copy. The stand bolts shouldn't come through the rear of the crossmember like that
It looks like they are touching the exhaust. The bolts should be a lot shorter with the nut tight against the forward part of the crossmenber (preferably with a strengthening plate), I take it there is some form of spacer/tube fitted so that the nut is accessable woithout removing the rear runners

My understanding is that when on its stand, a Lambretta should have the tread of the front wheel just touching the ground. You should be able to turn the steering, but feel light friction between the front wheel tread and the ground. It is always best to push your scooter off its stand whilst standing to the side of the scooter, rather than whilst astride it. Kejj, I would say that in your first front side on picture that the stand is sloping backwards a bit too much, but no a lot. Strengthening plates may help, as you may find that the holes through the frame strut have stretched.

Yes I understand that too.
My problem is that when I want to take my lambretta off the stand I have to lift it up by the handlebars before pushing it forward! Very annoying since that is a really bad position to lift from, worse if we're talking back wise
