Does anyone know of a 62mm or 64mm piston that has the ring pegs running each side of the exhaust port? I have a reed valved 175 with an extra boost port cut into the intake side, at the moment i am using an asso piston but one of the pegs lines up with this port so I can only use 1 ring.
The piston out of the GT185 kit doesnt fit as ring pegs are in a similar area as the asso.
Cheers

The Suzuki TS185 pistons (64mm) have ring pegs in different locations through it's range of models. I think that the TS185ER piston (P/N 12010-29900) has them furthest apart, but they are still on the inlet side.
You might get lucky, but it does prove the value of planning where you cut boost ports. I appreciate that it is often easier said than done, and on occasions when I have done piston swaps, I have just got lucky.

some jap stuff runs ring ends over ports, even some of the wiseco pistons have the peg directly opposite the exhaust where there is almost certainly a port, its just a matter of how wide the port is and how much of the end protrudes into it
