id say good its a lambretta altho one built in another country and not italy, for me its no big deal were a scoot came from theres as much heratige in these and spanish scooters as any other infact both country buili scooters for longer than the italians any scooteris only as good as the person rebuilding it and the quality of parts used alot od italian stuff could have been alot better but wasnt id do the minimum to it to make it safe ridable and legal before you decide to spray it or restore it if thats what you wanna do or ride as is and show the history behind its use in the last 39yrs sterile resto,s look to new and in many cases over restored
We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm
Looks good- I'd be inclined to get it up and running; check/ replace all the safety related bits and then ride "as is". As Steve says, some resto's can look great but a tad "sterile". Riding "as is" is the way forward IMO but everyone to their own.
Still worried why the Missus bought it for you though....................
