How are the ScootRS side panels?

Hi All,
Just bought a 64ym Lambretta TV175 Mk3. The side panels on the thing are horrible - buckled, bent, badge holes poorly welded up. Front mudguard is a glassfiber replacement one of course broken - and needs thus to be replaced.
So I got my eyes on ScootRS side panels:

And front mudguard

The current $-exchange rate makes them quite price worthy.
Has anyone out there got any experience from these parts ?
Are they any good ?
Regards
Ola N

The front mudguard should be fibreglass on the S3 TV175. That is how they were.

Get 'em from Lambretta Body Bits. Good stuff and shippings going to be way cheaper.

Sorry to burst your bubble Soulpunk but late model TV175 series 3 and TV 200 had metal mudguards as standard.

That's interesting. My TV200 was made in 1964 and when I got it at least it was fitted with a metal front mudguard. I always assumed it was probably fitted as a replacement at some later date, but perhaps not.

Back in 1970 I bought an early 64 TV200 which was in its original paint and had a metal front mudgaurd. The whole scoot was in a tatty condition so IF it had ever had its mudgaurd replaced it would have been very early in its life

In answer to the original question re panels a bloke in our club got a painted set from them 2 years ago and they are in use every day and look and fit very good his are the ones that are pressed from one chunk of metal as compared to 3 bits bodged together ( though cheaper) I would have a set no problem.
