Hi All,
Just bought a 64ym Lambretta TV175 Mk3. The side panels on the thing are horrible - buckled, bent, badge holes poorly welded up. Front mudguard is a glassfiber replacement one of course broken - and needs thus to be replaced.
So I got my eyes on ScootRS side panels:

And front mudguard

The current $-exchange rate makes them quite price worthy.
Has anyone out there got any experience from these parts ?
Are they any good ?
Regards

The front mudguard should be fibreglass on the S3 TV175. That is how they were.

Sorry to burst your bubble Soulpunk but late model TV175 series 3 and TV 200 had metal mudguards as standard.

That's interesting. My TV200 was made in 1964 and when I got it at least it was fitted with a metal front mudguard. I always assumed it was probably fitted as a replacement at some later date, but perhaps not.

Back in 1970 I bought an early 64 TV200 which was in its original paint and had a metal front mudgaurd. The whole scoot was in a tatty condition so IF it had ever had its mudgaurd replaced it would have been very early in its lifeDoom Patrol wrote:That's interesting. In answer to the original question re panels a bloke in our club got a painted set from them 2 years ago and they are in use every day and look and fit very good his are the ones that are pressed from one chunk of metal as compared to 3 bits bodged together ( though cheaper) I would have a set no problem.
