something for the wife.

Post pics & videos of your scooter, projects you're working on, a lovely Vespa that you saw at a rally, or anything else scooter related.

Here are a few shots of the scooter we are building for my wifes upcoming birthday, she chose the colour and left the rest to me. The scooter is a standard VBB that has been completely restored to original spec (apart from the basket and the paint) This was her fathers scooter who purchased it brand new in 1964 and it was passed down through the family until it was siezed solid and totally rotten. Thats when i brought it from her younger brother for about 50 quid and stuck it in the back of the garage five years ago.

Seeing as her father has now passed away and she has been around this scooter all her life i thought it would be a nice birthday present.

No worries glad you like her scooter.
The mudguard is the original VBB one that was on the bike since it was bought brand new.
I also think it looks very large as the scooter is still running 8 inch wheels and we usually convert them to 10 inch. Maybe thats what it is.
