Following a melted honda piston showering my crank with aluminium......Whats the best way to clean it ?

I would remove the crank then clean it with petrol and compressed air

IF you get a realy sharp chisel..and I mean sharp you could remove the obstrution fairly easy matey as the ally wont deep key to the crank as the iron is much harder than the ally..

If it were me i'd get it split and checked. If that ally has run in that bearing it will damage it despite being softer.
