Just got an EGT a week or so ago and will be hooking it up in the next week or two. Just wondering what kind of temperatures are good and bad. What's normal etc.? The scoot is a ser. 1 with a 190 topend and scootrs pipe, with mikuni carb, and varitronic.
Thanks

I've been to 700+, you don't want to go there

I have my RB22 35mm Mikuni running at 500 -550C sometimes spikes over to 600C & throttle needs to be opened to bring temp down.
Hardest was midrange to bring down.
My carb setting are on here somewhere.
Egt is great, cause you can see the difference made by changing needles & jets.
