what would a 1976 indian gp come back as after registering some one said they all come back as vijay sings or summat?

Our lass,s came back as a Allwyn pushpak apparently, even though theres nothing to suggest thats what it is

Its a relatively new DVLA policy. However, as with most things DVLA its all a bit half-arsed and from posts I've read it seems a complete lottery as to what they decide to call it irrespective which of the several Indian manufacturers actually made the thing.

If you take it to Preston Joe you might have half a chance as the guy who does the inspections is of the scootering variety, plus he owns an indian one and italian. Told me a lammy is a lammy regardles of where made.

well there is a lammbretta made in italy and then copys made in india ,spain etc called allsorts of diffrent names because they are copys

When i get round to registering my kelvinator , i want it on the V5 as a kelvinator not a common as muck lambretta
