What would cause an engine to smoke excessively?
Pretty sure its not the oil seals or to much 2 stroke.
Could a cold plug cause it?

could it be your crank,i've known it happen before if it's slightly out of true and rubbing on the seal it can release oil through the seal which in turn causes the exess smoke ?
