Lambretta wiring problem need Advice

So trying to wire up my sx- the loom is a new 12v one – it seems to have a black a purple a brown and green

So a SX switch and key ignition in headset

The brown and green black are easy enough—just match them up – but where does the purple go-

I read in a manual Purple from the main loom, to purple on the ignition switch, purple is an auxiliary power feed. But the ignition switch doesn’t have a purple it has a pink (earth) yellow I think is speedo bulb or side light a blue ( no idea what blue is) orange, brown, black, I cant get the lights to work at the front—if I add the purple with the 2 blacks ( one from loom and one from ignition switch) it seem to power the back light- any ideas

You have an Indian ignition switch, on these the blue is the equivalent to purple, which is the feed for pilot lights in key position 2.
