So my scooter was starting first kick and running fine but now it won’t start unless I give it a few squirts of carb cleaner. Once it’s running it is absolutely fine.
The set up is RT200 with a PHBH30 and JL pipe.
I’ve stripped and sonic cleaned the carb twice but it’s made no difference. I run without a filter and all of this has run fine for ages.

Have you done the obvious like fitting a new plu?g

Stuck rings ?
Air leak ?

I assumed it was fuelling in some way since it starts with a squirt of carb cleaner and once running is fine

Check the choke mech is definitely working properly.

How many miles has it done? Check the compression, sounds like worn rings/bore.
