SS250 - keep centre plug or not?

Just finished SS250 build - it came with a centre plug rather than the usual offset. I am considering swapping it for the offset - will there be much difference power/reliability wise of doing the swap? I'm assuming that they use the centre plug for a reason? It's a pain in the backside as I have to remove the rear shock in order to get to the plug
Not accessible at all for plug chops and not practical at all for gaining access at the side of the road.
Any thoughts guys?
Many thanks!

If you do decide to change it i'd be interested in your centre plug head cowl as i'm just building an RB225 with a centre plug head and need one.

I have a standard non centerd head on my SS250 but I havn`t run it yet.
Can`t see why it would be a problem. I actually don`t think I could use a centerd plug with my exhaust because I had to grind down my head cowl fixing bolt to fit the pipe already.

Spoke to Dean the other day and he recommends keeping the centre plug - it's easily accessible if I drop the shock which isn't a major job

He also doesn`t reccomend TMX 35 carbs.
Can you remember your jetting?
