Hello wandering if anyone could help connected brown wire from speedo to brown lighting wire in headset I'm using an r rated spark plug and resisted plug cap problem is rpm is reading about 4000 too high so when scooter is running about 6000 rpm it is reading 10,000.cheers

That may be the 'sparks per rev' setting. What stator do you have?

have you set the speedo to one spark per revolution and not two

I am using a good quality Indian stator from antony tambs. ..
