Casatronic backfiring...

Fitted mid-season 2016 seems to be showing signs of a stator breaking down.
Surely not bearly done 3k. So far pulled the ignition & changed the plug no change! I appreciate there’s plenty checks to do. Would it backfire if it was a split reed?

Is it back firing out of the carb or the exhaust?

Exhaust I think! I’d need to fire it up to be sure. Thing that made me think reed is it has a decent spark. I’ll know Saturday when I investigate further.

it’s electrical defo need to pull the other ignition apart and see wots wot! I’ll be complaining like f**k if it’s packed up so soon
On the up side I needed a victim to test out my leakdown kit, looks like it’s me
