Now my series 3 65 eibar has a Carello rear light unit fitted, it's knackered and I want to run the BGM led rear light so is it possible to swap it over for the CEV light unit??
Cheers in advance

just buy a LED lamp and call it done. Far easier ( more reliable and cheaper) to change the bulb than to change the whole tail light housing.
Google search "LED 1157". They are a DIRECT replacement for your tail lamp.

Yes (technically they are off 1/2 the time but at 1500rpm and faster it's too fast to notice). I run them in all of my bikes (BGM AC stators), have for years with no problems. Any auto parts shop should sell them. If you can't find them locally try Amazon.
The LED board type tail light is an expensive solution to a cheap problem.
