I'm after advice on a price for removing the forks from a series 2 Li and removing the old springs and bearings then rebuilding them with new and refitting. Just looking at rough labour costs.

Just your time if you do it yourself. Pretty simple job to be honest. Have a go you'll be surprised how simple it is.

The best of luck with it.

To try and answer your initial question £30 an hour labour costs.

It's a simple enough job, took me about an hour to do on my Lince forks but everything came apart fine and went back together fine. It wasn't long in from Spain so had been in a dry climate, little rust / seizing of parts. The condition of the fork link bolts and bushes is the determining factors.

If you take a rolling scooter in for repair I'd expect about 4 hours labour, £100 to £150 depending on who you take it to plus about £60 in parts.

Where are you based? I'm sure someone local can help.
