Can you fit a SIP valve in an AFR tubeless alloy rim?

Don't know (sorry, I know that doesn't help) but just to suggest you look at Demon Tweeks website. They do valves and valve connectors.

Is the AFR rim threaded for the valve? If so, I would imagine it would fit as the SIP ones screw in. Some motorcycle/scooter/car valves have a nut securing them on the inside of the rim.

I had assumed that they were the same as led to believe they're made in the same factory and the pic on AF's website looks the same. If I can remember I'll look at some AF rims I've got and see if I can see any difference. Not too keen on unscrewing them as one snapped on me once.
