Having some issues with my new sip speedo on my px. CHT works fine as does rev counter but spied signal is way out, I'm doing about 20mph and it only reads 6mph!!!
I've used the sip speed sensor and tried moving the sensor nearer to the magnet but no difference, blue light is flicking do guess it's right. Set the wheel circumference to 1300mm, can't see any other setting to tweak, standard ignition setting and ratio at 0.8. Does gave an issue sometimes when holding the button in to get the adj menu up so have to disconnect all wires then plug back in and seems to work again. Had it in a box for a year so doubt sip will have it back. Fitted one to my lambretta and works fine. Any advice would be great, is there a setting I'm missing for the ext speed signal??

Is there also a pulse setting? I seem to remember seeing a P3 on the display that wasn't mentioned in my instructions. That could mean you need 3 passes of the magnet register 1 revolution. If you see such a thing change it to P1.

Agreed, if you're using the magnet it's one pulse per revolution. The ratio is only relevant for a cable drive.

Yessssssss!!! That makes sense, it mentions something about refer to instruction sheet if using ext speedo sensor but no sheet supplied, bloody Germans! that must be it. Thanks for the help, one less problem to solve.
