Hi I cant seem to get rid of stuttering four stroking, plug chops etc all ok,
its just in the mid range and I cant pull it through it unless I knock it down a gear and rev it out before I change up
ts1 with a delly 30mm phbh
av268 atomiser
138 main
x7 needle top clip
55 idle
350 float
timing at 18 degrees
it is really unrideable between 40-55 as just sits there stuttering and wont accelerate
any advice would be appreciated
cheers steve

Hi , don't know if this will help but i run the following on my ts 225 - 40 slide,137 main,55 pilot,av 266 atomiser,x13 needle (2nd clip down from the top ) 300 float jet, i also run it with a ram air filter mounted on the top of bellows & coupled with a bgm clubman, I do get a little 4 stroking between 1\2 & 3\4 throttle but nothing major & it soon clears, hope this helps & you get it sorted. db67 ;)

Being as your needle is on the top clip, I'd be inclined to try a 266 with the X7 on the bottom notch then move up one notch at a time till it runs clean. Pay attention to the plug but I will say that most TS1's have a stutter in that range just before it comes on song, some worse than others.

moving needle to bottom clip, surely that will make it even worse and richer wouldn't it

The smaller atomiser delivers less fuel so hopefully it will stutter on the bottom notch, then you can move the clip up one notch at a time till it runs clean.
