Hi Guys,
just 'gutting' a 200 indian GP engine casing and found the rear hub bearing/seal retaining plate is held on by 4 bolts (rather than the usual 4 studs and nuts seen on the Italian casings) which is an indian design I guess.
It looks like someone in the past has wound them down too far (or the nuts were too long) so they have marginally cracked the aluminium to the circle around where the rear hub bearing sits, but not through to the outer edge (ie; the side you see from within where the brake shoes sit) but you can, on 2 studs see the cracking on the internal face.
Any solutions, other than welding ? It only affects the two upper holes ?

Must stress the cracking is only where the two lowers screw threads are, not structural to the actual casing

I had something similar and used JB Weld, been fixed for 2 years with no issues. Not a perfect repair but as far as i'm aware it's only to hold the oil seal retaining plate in place and there's not a great deal of stress.

OK, sorry just google it and found it.....'epoxy resin' . IF it's just to hold the oil seal in place then less worries I guess
