Hope it's ok to post this here, seems to be read by more than on the carb page.
AF Rayspeed 175 top end, standard exhaust, and a Scootopia 22mm carb. I have a 150 atomiser and slide, and a 200 atomiser and slide as supplied with the carb. Anyone know the best combination of slide and jets to suit the 175 set up? Thanks

200 slide. I would have thought the 45 pilot would be okay. Main, possibly 118 - 120.

I struggle to understand jetting the recommended main jet for a standard GP 200 with a 22mm carb is 118. My 225 mugelo has a 25mm phbl and the main jet is 102, it's been set up on a dyno and runs well. Why is this?

Puzzles me too. GP150 main jet 118, same as a 200
Someone suggested a 122 main for the 175 set up. ??

You can't really compare the two. The jets on modern carbs seem massive by comparison and can't be interchanged with the original jetting. It's best to think of them as a different range altogether. You sort of start from scratch with the modern Dell'orto's with another set of rules.

So will a scootopia carb with an 118 jet use more fuel on than a modern card with a smaller jet?

it amazed me in the latest scootering when tuning a standard indian gp200 with an ancilloti and a 22mm carb ended up needing a 175 main jet!!
