Yes, i think it distorts a little when you bolt it to the cylinder,I got some grinding paste (the stuff they used to grind car valves in with) and just spun it in until it went in nice, once this was done i then sealed it with silicone seal, bath stuff.

Mine was a sliding fit even though I've nickel plated it.

Couldn't have been better really. Good enough that I didn't use sealant but went on easy.

If you are dry fitting the pieces they can gall together and be near impossible to take a part. Always use some sort of lube (especially with stainless parts).

My BGM V2 pipe fit perfect.

I've had two version 2 BGM boxes that wouldn't mate together straight with the u-bend. Spewed all kind of s**t out of the joint. It was as if the u-bend was too short or needed to be bent.

I've fitted 2 and during winter service refitted them several times. Easiest exhaust I've worked with on a lambretta!

Yes darling,but is it art?

I've fitted a few and the last one was very difficult, I think MB reccomended oil to get it on...

Just checked my PM's and MB reccomended grease but I used 3-1 oil and it worked a treat.
