I bought a pair of Armadillo gloves a couple of years ago which look pretty much the same and have a similar spec but are definitely not waterproof. A lot of gloves are sold as waterproof but not many will stand up to riding at speed for half an hour or so. I have a pair of BMW Motorad gloves which ARE 100% waterproof and have also been using a pair of Turcano Urbano lightweight armoured gloves which were very good at keeping my hands dry but after a year of almost daily use, started to let in water due to the plastic liner failing (still good gloves though). Now on my 2nd pair of these 8-)

I did post this on another site, you can't beat sheepskin mitterns with belstaff mitts on the top, warm and dry but a little cumbersome.

I've yet to find any good winter gloves that have decent protection in them.
Hein Gerricke race gloves, with the above mentioned goretex overmitts for me.
Oh, and heated grips. Money well spent.

Armadillo gloves for warmth and lighter rain, then the same with the Army Gortex overmitts in the heavier stuff.
