I dont think my xmas tree should be rubbing on the casing like this should it :(

I have the shim fitted. Would having the clutch in pull the tree up or do I need another shim?

Is the shim in under the outer bearing race in the casing? Don't see it in the picture?

Might be the roller race is hiding it -

But the track looks a long way in.

I think that's just the grease you're seeing, no seal?

Is it an aftermarket Indian Li 150 gearbox? If so I had one and it knackered the christmas tree bearing track.Running it without the shim was the only solution.

If you have packed that much grease in the bearing to look like a seal,
Will the clutch plates like that?

Just curious.
