has anyone any thoughts on the likely improvements on the sip road now that the sip road XL is out?

It does look a bit like a BGM big box.
There's another one of those coming out soon too.

Be interesting to see back to back dyno graphs for them all.

Might be worth suggesting that to Scootering

I've seen that one. There's a new, touring, BGM box coming soon, app.

I'm planning to get one in a couple of weeks, will post in here and let you know how it performs. I was dithering between getting the Big Box or the SIP Road and had come down in favour of the SIP Road on price alone, but as Muttley says this looks pretty much like SIP's version of the Big Box but considerably cheaper.

I'm running a standard P2 pipe at the moment on a Pinasco 215 so should be able to give a reasonable summary of it's performance improvement over stock.

Interesting similarity between the two videos.... ;)

The BGM sounds a lot louder but that might just be the video. If I've got one criticism of the Lambretta BGM its that its annoyingly loud.
Meus Lambretta est non infractus. Is est quietus.

Was talking the other day to a guy who's just swapped from SIP road to Big Box Sport and says it's definitely louder.

I've got the sip 2 on my standard rally 200 & the BGM big box on my ratter sprint v with px210 motor.
The sip 2 has a nice subtle bassey tone to it - where as BGM is notably louder & has a deeper, sportier sound ...
Imo though, the sip pipes seem a bit better quality of finish than the BGM offering & the coating on the sip 2 is standing up a lot better than that on the BGM pipe.
