Springs (7) on rear of rear sprocket .

Now I not done a lot of these, but don't think this is quite normal, is this a shock absorbing up grade, sure this isn't a standard thing, but quite happy to go to the back of class if so ! Has the basket and five springs on the front though, just stripping as slipping like crazy at 55 and dragging on idle, thoughts ? :shock:

do you mean the internal springs on the rear sprocket?

If so, these were phased out during the S3 run due, I think, to costs and the fact that they broke up.

Replaced with a solid rear sprocket which is OK but can give a "thump" when putting into gear (the earlier springs absorbed any snatching etc)

The earlier ones do not last long in a tuned motor!

Agh this makes perfect sense thanks for the quick reply, think I may take it out and build up a new clutch , P.
