series 2 spanish fitting anti dive

hi has anyone had trouble fitting a scootrs anti dive disc brake to your spanish series 2 the mudgaurd bracket is in the way as the clamp needs to go higher your thoughts please

Its very tight in there for sure. You will have to try and move the mudguard bracket as your position on the fork is set. Having said that i suppose you havent had a chance to see exactly where you will atach the fork bracket? I know i ended up moving my bracketby about an inch before it felt right on my series 3

Idbe interested. To see how you sort it out as id been thinking of doing mine.... :D

I've just done two,an Eibar and an Italian, both Ser 2's.I welded the bracket on the Eibar as it's going for paint and used the clamp on the Italian, set about 2" up from the boot but I used a modified caliper plate.
