Pogo stick Malossi rear shock

i've got the malossi rs24 rear shock fitted to a px200 which looks great, but when i ride it at certain speeds it feels like i am on a pogo stick. Anyone else had the same experience? Any suggestions on how to calm it down?

Not used the malossi shock, but I would be checking the rubber shock bush and the distance bolt are ok. Ive had the rubber bush disintegrate and the threads on the distance bolt sheer before.

Its a new shock and rubber, so it can only be the setup. Any ideas which way to adjust it to cure the problem? Or maybe I'm just riding on the wrong roads :-)
