Hello

I'm having problems ( don't want to throw it away yet ) jetex 22 mm on a 185 lammy apart running crap and flooding I'm wondering how much movement should the float have ? On inspection it seems really tight and stiff should this be the case .mit is a apparent reworked carb , bike keeps running boggy or flooding loads of petrol in the rubber hose . Any thoughts

Many thanks

the float should move freely- sounds like yours is sticking and causing flooding.

Try easing the pivot area.

Run a small drill bit through it by hand. When it's done blow through the other end of the petrol pipe and lift the float and you should feel it close.
Quite a normal problem.
