Hi,
I am putting the GT kit into my Eibar Jey 200. If any can share a good staring point for the carb set up it would be much appeciated.

My current set up on a stage 4 tune 200cc with 28mm delly, bgm clubman and k&n filter

idle jet: 55
choke = 60
main jet = 120
atomizer=av264
needle x7 with clip in bottom slot
slide 50
3mm float needle

Thanks in advance.

David

Does Richards site not give you those details? Or a good starting (safe) point? If not, I'm sure he'll be along dreckly to put you right. S

This is what I went with:
idle: 60
choke = 60
main = 138
atomizer = av268
needle x7 with clip in top slot
slide 50
BR8ES plug (using R because I have the heat sensor hooked up to my SIP speedo)

My plug is black, not milk coffee brown and I am finding it a bit stuttery below 3,000 RPM. The stutterning is more pronounced if I am trying to maintain speed, less so if I am accelerating. Once I get above 3000 and into 3rd it just smooths out and runs sweet.

I have little experience with jetting, so not sure what I need to change here. Any suggestions?

Thanks
David

Here is what I am running .....on my GT200 kit.
with a BGM pro exhaust........at 4%. for 400+ miles.

I think a 28mm carb is a bit restrictive.....
Also X7 is a lean needle . Try a X13 or X2(richer)

I am running ......
30mm Dellorto
55 pilot
X2 needle top notch with spacer
45 slide (rich)
AV268
135 main jet
300 float needle
IGN timing set at 17 degrees static ( petrol is s**t in the US )

Fitted a sweet breath filter and a NGK 8ES plug this week end as
it was fouling the plug running it open mouthed.
Its rich I know but for the next 300 miles thats how I'm running it.
