VBA brake pedal removal

Chaps ,any suggestions as how to remove the pin that retains the brake pedal on the shaft

Chaps ,any suggestions as how to remove the pin that retains the brake pedal on the shaft

Pull the rubber off, this allows more travel.
Then hopefully, it is still loose and you can grab it with pin nose pliers.
A seal pick to poke from underneath sometimes works,
Worse case is an angle grinder to destroy the pedal and then remove the pin.
