Seals change

Just a ball park figure but how much should I be paying to have all seals changed on li 150 engine. Thanks.

just about to do mine myself so I'd be interested as well.

It appears very labour intensive and is dependant on how well it strips down- mag housing being a case in point. So don't be surprised if its expensive.

Last time I paid for a main bearing seal replacement the whole job cost me £4 :shock: - but this was back in 1969!!

£4 sounds like a bargain to me. I'd take that.

can't even get the main seal for £4 these days!!! Whens the LI125S top end going on?

It's a complete engine strip and rebuild so depending on several factors

i.e. Where you are in the country, are you getting a shop to do it, a mate to do it, a guy working out of a garage as a business illegally as he's not paying taxes etc then you could be paying £50 to £250 at a guess?

Will need someone to do this for me in South Yorkshire area so may ask a local club. Chris not changing the barrel until the engine is fettled. I was clutching at ignition problem but I think it's something bigger than that.
