Anyone got any tips on how to get this out.

Tried drifting it out but all I managed to do was drift out the middle of the bearing and have been left with the outer race stuck in the casing. Tried to knock out the the outer race but all I managed to do was knock off a bit of it.

If I get a cheap bearing puller will this do the job as I can't see where it could pull against.

Cheers Bruce

Have you used any heat?

Bought one of those gas guns and after a quick heat it came out first knock.

On refitting any bearing, put them in the fridge overnight and heat the casings before fitment.Always knock them in on the outer race too.A sundance grip works well to knock the inner race on the crankshaft but remember to leave a small gap between the race and crank web.
