Just want to point out that I'm running 2 Lammies on points at the minute, both are close to standard with only Clubman's and are running very well, kicking off easily and running great. Over the years, I've reached straight for electronic systems and thrown away perfectly good points systems. Try points again if you need to, they've been great for me and I've saved a few hundred pounds on needless elctronic systems.

running elecrronic on my TV simply because that was what was on there when I got it.

Previously all my scooters were 6v points- simple to fix if they go wrong.

yep points are great, been running a set on my SX150 for the best part of 20 years now and apart from getting the flywheel remagnatised and fitting LED's to boost the lighting side of things- they've been great. Gone are the days of the old AF electronic units when you could just fit and forget, even the expensive BGM etc stuff seems to fail
