Would it be possible to use an Li125 special head with the central combustion area to convert for use with a 64mm/190 conversion?. Cheers Simon

Short answer, yes. Will need to profile head and open out for correct compression ratio

Yes, but also be careful. It is a common mistake to open out the head and not consider the depth of the spark plug hole. This then results in the spark plug protruding into the new combustion chamber.

I used to make loads of GT186 heads from converted 125 heads and produced a drawing profile which avoided this specific problem. If you send me a PM with your Email address I'll send you the drawing over.

I cast my own heads these days so I have no need for the drawings any more.
