Reversing a PX wheel rim

Has anyone reversed there rear PX wheel rim, where the larger part of the wheel rim is on the outside. Im still trying to get the front disc set up on my GS to line up. When I reverse the wheel rim it lines up perfect, so Im hoping I can get away with this. Its the rear wheel rim Im reversing.
This is the front disc Im hoping to use.

No reason why you couldn't do it although I'm sure it would knock it out too far and cause dodgy handling. Why not try the GS 160 / SS 180 rims to shift it across a bit more safely?
SIP link.

i thought of that, unfortunately i don't have a GS/SS wheel rim to try. Hopefully get hold of one during the week.
When I reversed the rim the alignment is near perfect, so I am happy with the alignment. The disc front end is supposed to be for a rally/sprint but it does fit the GS150 forks, I have also tried the rally forks and it still throws the alignment out, turning the rim around is the only thing thats worked. I can make the engine bracket to move the whole engine so the wheels align, but this leads to other complications.

but he read somewhere about reversing the wheel for those mounts..
the wheels reversed and perfect now

I'd be worried about the extra stress on the hub studs when reversing the rim by those amounts, I think I'd rather use longer studs with a spacer plate should it come down to that.

What about Cosa rims, aren't they offset a bit more ?

If you think stress on the hub studs is an issue, what about drilling the studs out and using bolts, with a nut on the inside of the hub.

PX rims are 70/30 split, GS/SS are 60/40 split, what are Cosa.

What issues has he encountered by doing this. My scooter hits 67mph+ but my mates fitting a Malossi 210 so handling is very important.

Don't know

but i know the Cosa rims were wider to accept the wider tyres used on the Cosas. I'm sure half of the Cosa wheel rim was used on PX's to help when fitting a wider tyre.......someone more Vespa inclined may fill in the blanks...
