Any one know what sort of temp a standard Li 150 exhaust reaches. I'm wanting to paint the exhaust but I've seen 400 600 and 800 degree paint. Prices vary wildly so just wondering which one to use.

Not sure on the temp but i find the BBQ paint pretty good. I use the brush on type and other than the U bend it lasts for quite a while.

PlastiKote Industrial High Heat spray is well worth a try, philz....I've always had great results with it, and it lasts.

It dries with a sort of powdery finish, but it buffs up really nicely with a microfibre cloth.

I usually do one coat and allow to dry, then wipe / buff away the powdery finish and then repeat before fitting...then just allowing it to cure with heat.

You can pick it up at Screwfix for £5.91 a can at the mo.
