I was at a dealers the other day to get a set of Tino standard rims (not the ally ones) and decided to check them before I left. I did this as Scoter centre had sent me Tino wide rims prev in error hence my trip to the dealer so didn't want to get stung twice. I'm rambling here but bear with me...
when I took the stsndard Tino rim out and laid them on the counter, one side was wider than the other...

My first though was that a wide and standard rim had been boxed together incorrectly but the other one I had brought was the same and so were the rest of there stock. When I pointed this out I was told that they were either meant to be like this or Tino had made an error when packing. they didn't seem sure but when I looked at the ally ones they had zipped tied to the walls they were the same..... At this stage I became a tad confused and opted for the roundest Indian ones they had (oxymoron?) and beat my retreat.
My point is this, these rims were 10mm higher than the standard Indian rims and the centre of the rim was offset by 10mm like a Vespa one. Am I being stupid or is this a bad idea......

and if SO....
