Trying to get a spark from an engine, in frame, so that I can move onto to next stage of rebuild. However, I'm not getting a spark! The set-up is a standard 200 with an indian electronic ignition. The regulator, CDI, wiring loom and ignition are all brand new. The stator plate has just had a new LT and trigger coil (black box) and new wiring up to the CDI and regulator. I am assuming all new equipment is ok, as well as the earth connections for the CDI and regulator ( these are mounted on to a SLJ mounting bracket, earths attached to mounting bolts and paint removed from the frame). I have removed the green wire of the loom from the CDI to bypass the ignition, but to no effect. Also, I have checked TDC and set timing / stator plate to 19 degress BTDC. Any ideas would be appreciated to solve this.

The scooter is up on a hydraulic ramp which sits on a carpet, possibly foam backed, then onto concrete. Is there any chance this could mess around with the earth connections?
Thanks in advance, Mark
