Can I fit a Sterling exhaust to a standard Li150 or would the Clubman be a better choice?

If it's totally standard, you'll need to upjet with either. You'll end up using more fuel and making more noise and not gaining much.

If you're determined then I'd vote clubman

I'm not really out to fit another exhaust. I am building it all standard but didn't know if the benefits justified changing the exhaust. I don't know how these exhausts "improve" performance is it torque or top end if anything at all.

I once fitted my Mikeck to a standard LI125 "for a laugh/to see what it would do" for a day with a guestimate up-jet on the main:

It was approx 12MPH faster than standard with more power everywhere. No miracle there then, unless it could have made it go backwards that is....
